Sara Bossi is the Sustainability Manager at Haworth Lifestyle Group, which brings together some of the most iconic Italian design furniture brands. She leads the Group’s ESG strategy and works closely with the brands to translate this strategy into operational plans, improvement actions and measurable objectives. Her work also focuses on sustainability reporting, regulatory compliance, environmental impact analysis and the integration of environmental and social criteria into business processes. She also has experience in the fintech sector, having worked in highly regulated and complex environments. Sara is co-author of the IPMA Sustainable Project Management ICB4 Reference Guide and is involved in applied research on ESG and responsible business practices.
Max Panaro is an experienced executive, consultant and thought leader in project management, with a strong focus on sustainability and organizational excellence. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering and an MBA and currently serves as Vice President of Organization, ICT, and System Quality at Maire Group. After early roles at Deutsche Telekom and a decade in top-tier strategy consulting with Bain & Company and Boston Consulting Group he specialized in capital project management for major oil companies and EPC contractors. Max Panaro is the Leader of the IPMA ESG Special Interest Group, Project Manager of the IPMA ESG Project and editor of the IPMA ICB4 Reference Guide on Sustainable Project Management.
Prof. Dr. Gilbert Silvius is an experienced and innovative researcher, author, lecturer, consultant and trainer in the field of project management, with affiliations at several universities. He has authored several books and more than 60 academic journal articles and is a recognized expert in the field of sustainability in project management. For his work on this topic, Gilbert Silvius received the outstanding contribution IPMA research award in 2020.
