Global Collaboration
in Power Plant Construction

Room 4

2:30 – 3:15 pm

Experience how global partnerships are reshaping power plant construction and setting new standards.

Description:

Recent geopolitical developments point to a shift away from globalisation. But while borders, sanctions and national interests dominate the news and politics, engineers around the world have long been working hand in hand. A new gas and steam power plant in Poland is an example of this: the planning and coordination is shared between five countries and experts from India, Germany, Greece, Spain and Poland. This logistical tour de force, in which different working methods, digital technology and local rules collide, requires clear agreements, clever tools and convincing team play. A direct line of communication and robust project management are essential. The project shows how global construction can succeed today.

Key Takeaways:

This project demonstrates how international cooperation can significantly streamline processes in power plant construction. Get answers to the following questions: How can global partnerships be managed? How can different regulations be handled successfully? And: How do digital tools support implementation? Rajesh Kumar and Thomas Bertram explain how international teams work together in a structured way and how you can master country-specific requirements in your cross-border project with confidence. Get to know concrete strategies that have proven themselves in everyday life.
