How Shared Leadership
Emerges in Project Teams

Room 2

11:00 – 11:45 am

Experience how shared leadership helps to improve performance with clear implementation steps.

Description:

Leadership does not have to come from the top. This presentation shows how project teams can share responsibility and become more successful in the process. Empirical research shows that shared leadership can have a positive influence on team performance and project results. But how and under what conditions does this concept of leadership develop and lead to success? After a brief theoretical introduction, it's straight into practice: Dr Maximilian Müller shows how organisations actively support the emergence and promotion of shared leadership.

Key Takeaways:

In this presentation, you will learn about alternative leadership concepts and find out why leadership does not necessarily have to be hierarchical. You will gain insights into how shared leadership arises in teams, what added value it brings to projects and organisations and what measures companies can take to specifically promote this leadership model. Practical examples and concrete recommendations for action will help you to apply the concept in your own environment.
