Water is the foundation of life and its sustainable management remains one of humanity’s greatest challenges. How can global collaboration foster water security, innovation and resilience for future generations World Water Valley (WWV) represents a bold vision, a strategic hub for collaborative innovation bringing together governments, industry and academia to tackle water challenges through cutting edge technology, policy and cross border partnerships. This presentation highlights WWV’s role in driving strategic cooperation, engaging Overseas Chinese networks for global impact and building a worldwide water network supported by international organizations.
In this presentation Dr. Dechun Huang and his team will use concrete examples to show how World Water Valley connects international stakeholders and drives innovation in water project management. Participants will gain insights into how pooled expertise and coordinated resources create solutions for water scarcity, quality assurance and climate adaptation. They will also learn about the role of global organizations in implementing and scaling such initiatives.
Dr. Dechun Huang is a professor at the School of Business, Hohai University in Nanjing. His research focuses on industrial economics, technology, finance and investment. He has led numerous national and regional projects related to water management, infrastructure financing and risk analysis in large-scale projects. As the scientific lead of the WWV initiative he combines economic analysis with water engineering solutions.
