The hybrid approach dominates many projects today. It offers project managers the flexibility to choose the right combination of adaptive and predictive methods depending on the project situation. But what does hybrid actually mean? Where are the challenges and grey areas? Dr Dagmar Silvius-Zuchi and Katharina Radlinger-Köhler share their experiences and demonstrate, what is important when choosing the right approach and how agile roles can be sensibly integrated into the project organisation.

Dr Dagmar Silvius-Zuchi is co-founder of enable2change and has more than 20 years of experience in managing and consulting projects, programmes and change processes. She holds PMI (PMP), PRINCE2 (Practitioner), IPMA® Level B - Certified Senior Project Manager and SCRUM Master certifications. She was also involved in the development of ISO standards in project management for nine years as a member of the Austrian delegation. She studied business administration and completed her doctorate at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Katharina Radlinger-Köhler, MBA, is a project manager at Bundesrechenzentrum GmbH, the competence centre for digitalisation in the public sector in Austria. With more than 15 years of experience in managing complex projects and programmes, she is an active member of pma - Projekt Management Austria - and led the pma Young Crew in Austria in 2015 and 2016. Katharina Radlinger-Köhler is a certified IPMA® Level C - Certified Project Manager and SCRUM Master.
